1. Change of Mind – Instore Spectacle Order

1.1 If you change your mind and wish to cancel your instore spectacle order, you must inform us within 24 hours of placing your order. The time and date that your order was placed will be on your receipt. We will cancel your order and provide a full refund.

 

1.2 If you have ordered 2 pairs of spectacles using our ‘2 For’ offer**, and you request to cancel one pair only, we will retain the full retail price for the order being fulfilled and refund the discounted amount paid for the additional pair.  

 

1.3 Refunds can only take place in person, to the original payment method at any store with an Asda Opticians department. 

 

1.4 If you change your mind after 24 hours or after the spectacles have been delivered to store, we are unable to offer a refund or replacement. 

 

**The ‘2 For’ offer is when 2 pairs of qualifying spectacles have been purchased at the same time, for the same person and a discount has been applied at the time of purchase. 

2. Amending an Order – Instore Spectacle Order

2.1 If you wish to make any changes to your instore spectacle order, either lenses or frame, you must inform us within 24 hours of the order being placed. The time and date that your order was placed will be on your receipt.

 

2.2 As a result of altering your spectacle order, the price may increase or decrease. Any amends to your order will need to be implemented in person. It is not possible for our colleagues to action this over the phone or via email

 

2.3 Refunds or payments can only take place in person, to the original payment method at any store with an Asda Opticians department. 

3. Problems With an Instore Spectacle Order

3.1 If you experience any problems with your spectacles purchased from an Asda Opticians store (frames, lenses, fitting, vision etc.), you must inform us within 60 days of us advising you that your spectacles are ready to collect.

 

3.2 We will take all reasonable steps to resolve any concerns to your satisfaction. 

 

3.3 Refunds or payments can only take place in person, to the original payment method at any store with an Asda Opticians department. 

4. Varifocal Spectacles

4.1 Our varifocal spectacle lenses come with a peace of mind non-tolerance guarantee; all we ask is that you try them out for at least 2 weeks. 

 

4.2 If you have any concerns with your varifocal spectacles, please tell us within 60 days of advising you that your spectacles are ready to collect.

 

4.3 We will take all reasonable steps to resolve any concerns to your satisfaction. 


4.4 Refunds or payments can only take place in person, to the original payment method at any store with an Asda Opticians department. 

5. Reglazing a Spectacle Frame

5.1 Asda Opticians stores will accept your spectacle frames for reglaze, at your own risk, providing the frames are in good condition and suitable for prescription lenses.

 

5.2 There is a risk involved when reglazing any spectacle frames. Asda may not be able to replace your frame on a ‘like for like’ basis, should it become damaged, broken or lost.

 

5.3 In this circumstance we will provide a complementary replacement pair of spectacles up to the complete price of £80.  

 

5.4 Cut and prepared spectacle lenses will be returned to you where possible.

6. Returning Non-Prescription Spectacles

6.1 We will accept returns for non-prescription spectacles purchased from an Asda Opticians store and returned within 30 days of purchase.

 

6.2 The item must be in unused, resaleable, unadjusted condition and contained in all original packaging. 

 

6.3 Refunds or payments can only take place in person, to the original payment method at any store with an Asda Opticians department. 

7. Returning Contact Lenses – Instore Order

7.1 We will accept returns of contact lenses that were purchased from an Asda Opticians store. The contact lenses must be returned within 14 days of them being delivered to store or home in unused, unopened, undamaged and unmarked packaging.

 

7.2 Refunds or payments can only take place in person, to the original payment method at any store with an Asda Opticians department. 

 

7.3 If you purchased your contact lenses from the Asda Opticians website, please refer to the online terms and conditions on our website. 

8. Returning an Asda Opticians Accessory

8.1 We will accept returns on an Asda Opticians accessory or solution purchased in store and returned within 30 days of purchase (this is in line with our standard Asda store terms & conditions).

 

8.2 The product must be unused, resaleable, undamaged and in its original packaging including any information leaflets enclosed. Proof of purchase will be required. 

 

8.3 Refunds or payments can only take place in person, to the original payment method at any store with an Asda Opticians department.
